Employment Opportunities! with Project Porchlight - One Change
Project Porchlight is an energy efficiency campaign administered by One Change, a not-for-profit organization that advocates community engagement and environmental sustainability. One Change will be working with other participating groups to bring a variety of energy efficient residential lighting campaigns to residents of Saskatchewan. These participants seek to establish common themes in the branding and marketing of their programs in order to convey their collaboration to the public.... more

United Nations Postage Stamps
On 23 October 2008, the United Nations Postal Administration will issue six commemorative stamps on the theme Climate Change, in the denominations of US$ 0,42, US$ 0,94, CHF 1,20, CHF 1,80, ¬ 0,65 and ¬ 1,15. Three prestige booklets and the 2008 Annual Collection Folders will be released on the same day.

IEC care4it contest: big ideas 4 energy efficiency
February 1, 2008 - Standards Council of Canada - The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the International Energy Agency (IEA) have launched care4it, a contenst open to all students up to 18 years old in schools wordwide. The challenge: find the best idea to make a difference in climate change and energy efficiency. The winning entry will recieve $10,000 and and a carbon-neutral trip to Geneva.
